This was the view from my hotel room at the Madrona Fiber Art's Retreat. The weather stellar, as were the people and classes. I will expand on that topic later, but tonight I wanted to check in with my family, let my blogging buddies know that I am alive and exhausted, then sleep in my own bed.

I also cast on for the knitting olympics. This evening I finally finished the eight repeats of the saxon braid for Samus.

The little white skein? Lace weight yarn that I spun! Tune in later for a better summation of the four days of fibery fun and friends.
Woo hoo! I'm glad you had fun. The laceweight looks amazing and Samus-wow!

Hi Marti! I had so much fun with you at Madrona - I think the wineglass moment was especially memorable don't you? :-D
The classes are always great but the best part was getting to meet everyone from FT.
