It is approaching the wee hours of the morning. My friend Loren and I are leaving for the MADRONA FIBER ARTS WINTER RETREAT at seven o'clock in the morning. I have yet to pack. I can't find my class list of supplies I need. I know what knitting I am taking, the current pair of socks, the baby blanket and of course my Knitting Olympics project (Samus from Knitty)
Clothes? Yeah I am packing them, but have no idea what items I am taking. Since I just bought new underwear, I am reasonably sure that I have at least those items clean and in a place where I can find them. I am taking my lap top and the camera, hopefully I will get a chance to blog while I am there. Even though Tacoma is about an hour away, I am splurging and staying at the hotel. There has to be some perks for not having had a vacation since my girls weekend to Portland last spring.
Thank you everyone for the nice comments that were left regarding my dog. Angus says that he is very appreciative that visitors didn't assume his gender and he asked me to tell you that he is a male variety of dog.
On that note I had best go find a suitcase.

Have a great time at your retreat.
Posted by: Annie at February 9, 2006 02:09 PMI am hopeing to go on Saturday. I am wondering how come so many bloggers in the Seattle area are staying there when it's not that far away, but if you are going for more than a day, I suppose I can understand it.
