It's the little things
I love the days where it is the little things that make me happy. Like the lovely lace on this tee that I am knitting.

I absolutely love this hempathy for knitting. It is light, it has lovely drape, and did I mention that is soft? The stitch definition is perfect for this project. In fact there are so many things that I love about this project that I am trying to ignore the fact that I most likely won't have the darn thing done by my self imposed deadline tomorrow night.
This morning I had fun taking pictures as I wandered home on my morning walk. Fiona is doing some work with the kids at the Boys and Girls club near our house and I loved spending time with her, walking down to the club. The return trip was my time and I am so glad that I had my camera with me.

The industriousness of the bumble bees made me insanely happy. I really almost got lost in watching them work. Another thing that made me happy this morning was this:

Those four apples equals our entire crop from last year. And that wasn't all of them on that one branch. Yum, I can almost taste September.

That lace is looking great! I've never used Hempathy, but I'd love to try it one day. :0)
