Can't do just one...
I am finding that I can't do just one of these darn squares. I am systematically upending everything trying to find small bits of sock yarn. While it does get me going through the piles of mess around my house, I haven't actually seen much improvement in the house keeping arena.

sorry, crappy cell phone photo
In fact, I think that there has only been one or two balls of yarn that have been completely used. I am not making squares in any particular order, this isn't going to be a chronological record of my sock making. I have too many left overs from my projects and several others to make that a viable option at this point.

Well, if you need any other odds and ends, just let me know. :) I find that yarn just multiplies, and it seems to be the least of my housekeeping messes these days!

my grandmother made me a quilt like that when i was a kid; it's one of the things she made that i love the most. :)

This is going to be so great!
The colors and shadings are wonderful.
Still on blogging vacation, but I like to check in on you.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Is it as hot in the Seattle area as it is here in Oregon? Damn...my body is sizzling in this heat.
Best to you, Marti.
