Progress of Sorts...

There has been knitting progress around here. My Celtic Hearts Shawl got blocked last night and I am wearing it this morning. With any sort of luck I might actually get a shot of me wearing it!

The colours continue to cause me to catch my breath. I wasn't at all sure about ending the shawl in bright green, but it works and I rather like the end result.

I also finished a pair of socks this weekend, and promptly gave them to a friend for a belated birthday present:

I actually thought last night as I was doing sit ups on the exercise ball that I was getting somewhere. That was before the ball slipped from under me and my arse went crashing with a thud to the floor. Little popping sensations ensued at the point of impact and this morning I am not moving very well. I just can't seem to catch much of a break these days.

You're in a greeny phase - wahoo! :-) The colors of the shawl are indeed breathtaking - lovely job, Marti. And those socks - oooo la la! Take good care of yourself, though - no more falling!

Ooh, Marti, what lovely work! The socks are very pretty - your friend is very lucky. I can't wait to see the full view of Celtic Hearts.

I hope your arse is feeling a bit better. It never ends, eh?

Your shawl is just magical with those lovely colors. The socks are true spring and I'll bet your friend won't want to take them off. What a wonderful gift.
I hope your bottom half is feeling better. We'd make a pair, your arse and my ribs!

Are you okay?

The shawl is so pretty...I hope it helps you feel better!

Oh,Marti! I hope you are ok! Love the shawl and socks, oooh, ooh, ooh!

Wow, that shawl is really gorgeous. That would cheer up the rainest day in Oregon. I need to do one of those in Kauni. Astrid sent me a couple of shawls that work with it - yours is terrific.

PS Please eliminate the 1st post I sent. The darned thing fired off before I could finish.

Hugs

What yarn is that? Love the rainbow colours!
