Monday Morning Meanderings...Answer Edition
I didn't get as many questions as I thought I would, but given the amount of time that I have to actually answer them, that is probably a good thing. So without further ado, here are the questions and answers...
Theresa asked: Have you ever bitten your toenails? Nope. And I have never bitten my fingernails either. That being said, I hate long fingernails/toenails and keep them trimmed back.
Joanne asked: What do you do for yourself, to relax? Good question. As a full time working mom, who seems to spend way too much time in the car schlepping kidlets too and fro, time to relax is at a premium. This weekend my moment to relax was taking time from DD#1's soccer game to go get some coffee. I am going to have to work on this one. I don't do it very well.
And from picadrienne (sadly, blogless) there are three questions.
The first question: What is your favorite knitting project you have ever finished? That would have to be my Roscalie cardigan by Alice Starmore that you can see as background here:

I love this sweater. I have worn it so often that I worry about wearing it out. And when that happens, I would happily knit it again.
The second question: What has been your favorite yarn to work with? It depends on the project. But I absolutely love sproingy merino for socks and the durability of a good shetland wool for colourwork.
The third question: What is your favorite event to watch at a gymnastics meet? That is a tough one. Shannon's best event is floor, but I love watching all of them. But to choose just one, it would have to be the floor. The power and strength, combined with grace that it takes for a good routine absolutely catches my breath each and every time.
Thanks so much for each of you who asked questions. It was fun!

The socks are marvelous, too.

I'm so glad to hear you're thinking about how to relax some more! (shouldn't we all look for ways to do that one?) Thanks for your comment on my blog. I too love my new sneakers--makes me smile whenever I look down at my feet!
