Surgery Update
Shannon came through the surgery like a trooper, although she is a tad bit upset that we will be getting the cast off a week later than she had planned. Oh well.
We spent a quiet day at home yesterday working on her science fair project. Once we discovered that she absolutely could not tolerate the percocet and changed her pain meds, she has been doing much better. The hard part is going to be after she gets the darn cast off and discovers it will be a while before she can do round-off back hand springs.
But I suspect it won't actually be that long...she bounces well.

kids really do bounce back faster than adults, so i'm sure it'll be no time before she's moving on to full-out backfilps. glad to hear the surgery went well.

Hey, I am glad your little one did fine on the surgery. Kids are tough and she sure is. Boy, she sure has grown up into a pretty little gal. Ah, seems like yesterday she was so small.
