Celtic Hearts Done
Celtic Hearts is off the needles, along with a pair of mitts that I made for Fiona.

I'll try and dig out the addy for the mitts, I can't find it at the moment.
Thanks for all the well wishes for Shannon. It has almost been a comedy of errors from a parenting standpoint. We didn't take her to the ER, because she didn't tell me that she had fallen off the top bunk. Then, I didn't take her to the orthopedist after taking her to the pediatrician, thinking that sports medicine would be a better route. Turns out we should have gone to the orthopedist because surgery is a big possiblity. Sigh.
Good think it was her right arm. She is left handed so school won't be an issue. But we are definitely out of gymnastics for the season. Sigh.

Ouch! I hope that it doesn't come to surgery but in any event - I hope that she recovers quickly and well!

There are so many comedy of errors as parents..I am the Queen of those.
I hope she mends well. I know she will...young people do. It is still hard to see your young ones in pain, suffering and especially not being able to do what they want to do and what they do best.
As always, your knitting is so beautiful.
Take care and a happy Easter to you and family.
Thanks as always..e

Wow, that's some nice technicolor you have going on there. They both turned out great! That is such a bummer about Shan. How is she holding up to the chaos of injury? So far I think we are still on for tomorrow. That is if HK's stomach holds out and she doesn't end up with the stupid bug I had. She was complaining about being queasy yesterday. Or I could leave her at home....

When my 12 year old was a second grader she fell off the monkey bars on a beautiful April Sunday afternoon. The first we had that year. She told me her upper arm hurt, but that she had just landed flat on the ground. Later in the day I ended up taking her to the ER...she had broken her humerous, we found out after 7 hours. She ended up with a great orthopedist (specializes in the hands and arms.) If you need a name, his office is down by Valley, but he is wonderful, and recommend him highly. If you need a name, send me an email.
