Monday Morning Meanderings
Two days. 5 gymnastics meets. 1 meeting with architect. 1 date with husband to Uwajimaya. 1 trip to Costco. The entire weekend has left me wickedly tired. Fortunately Shannon only competed in one of those meets, and she placed second (again) in her age group. The other meets were volunteering to help or just watch, but it added up to a lot of time spent at the gym and a sock that got just past turning the heel and picking up for the gusset. Plus I picked up a Japanese stitch pattern book that I have been coveting for quite a while and I can't wait to start perusing it in ernest.
Friday night we got together with the Midgelings for spaghetti and just hanging out time. I cooked a ton of sauce and 2 pounds of noodles and there was only a few stray noodles and a splash of sauce left. Chaos reigned and ensued in gianormous proportions, a grand time was had by all.
The days are lengthening and the weeds are beginning to grow by leaps and bounds. The bulbs are pushing up against the brown earth and soon they will begin brightening the flower beds. I can't wait.

Heheh. That was good spaghetti. Thanks for dinner. The Social Knitting Gods seem to still be mad at me, so I am glad I have you to help me feel better, lol.

The promise of Spring and good friends and family for dinner...what could be better? (not much, except the close runner up would be some serious good sleeping and the song of the robin in the morning!)
Best to you..
