Mr. Greenjeans
This was such a fun sweater to knit, if you ignore the gauge issues, the fact that I had to redo the button band several times, as well as lengthening the sleeves after I had bound off. But I love the way that it fits, the way the buttons bring out the purple in the heathery yarn and the cabled ribbing.

With all the chaos that was running around the house last night, the above picture is about as good as it was going to get.

The buttons? The buttons were fun to pick out. I had spent 45 minutes trying to find something that I liked, then I looked in a basket as I was just about to totally give up on the endeavor. I am really glad that I did, because these are perfect.

I love this picture of Chase, It makes me smile. He is such an easy going kid, and while the girls were doing girl stuff last night when the Midgelings came over, he hung out with Dennis while he snaked out the drain in the basement sink. When that task was done, Chase was quite happy to hang out on the knitting couch and read for a bit.
Tomorrow is the beginning of the gymnastics season for Shannon. Fortunately for me, the replacement needle for my Autumn Leaves cardigan finally came in. Yeah!

The sweater turned out so nice - and the buttons were a perfect finish. I really think the mods you made on that sweater improved the overall look a lot! Great job!
