Monday Morning Meanderings
One of the goals that I made to myself this year was to find some whimsy in every day. As an adult and a parent, life tends to get bogged down with, well just plain life and there are days that I am hard pressed to see beyond the dark tending toward blue.
I often go for a walk at lunch time to the down town area of Seattle. One doesn't have to look very far for a bit of whimsy among the mundane. I rarely go anywhere without my camera these days and here is some whimsy caught with the camera lens:

There is even whimsey to be seen if you just look up occassionally:

It is Monday, the promised snow of the weekend finally arrived and I am sitting at work. I am not finding whimsy in that thought, but I am wondering where do you find whimsey in your life?

Hmm. You make me want to take my camera out for a jaunt and look at everything from a new perspective. Great photos. Where do I find whimsey? Why in the knitblogs, of course. :)

Oh, I'm so glad you got some snow. You should be able to enjoy it at home, darn it!
Autumn leaves is coming along so beautifully. I have to admit I drool over that sweater.
Where do I find my whimsy? I think I just have one of those "whimsy chips" embedded somewhere in my head. It probably is a gift from my daddy.
Take care, loved the pictures taken in Seattle.

LOVELY photos. I always like playing with perspective. Funny that we seems to be on the same page yet again. I took a rather odd photo in Tacoma on Saturday while having lunch with my family. I will have to post that tonight. Thanks for reminding me that inspiration and creativity aren't totally dead in me yete. ;-)

My dogs keep me laughing. I'm pretty serious and have a hard time finding whimsy, laughter, etc. some days. I have to work at it!
