Monday Morning Meanderings
The holidays are steeped in tradition. LIke a fine wine that gets better with age, I appreciate the traditions that I grew up with as well as the ones my own family is creating.

Some of them are the same, some of them have evolved over the years. This year both girls actively sought me out to give me input as to where their donation gift should go. Then there are the annual pajamas. I almost decided not to get them pajamas this year, they never seem to be able to find them anyway, prefering to sleep in t-shirts. But when I brought up the idea, both girls said that they liked the pajama tradition, so it stays.
Such silly little things. But they warm my heart.
I'm pushing this out a bit late today. I'll blame it on that darn knitting needle. I am completely off kilter as a result.

Little things like that santa dish are great as it is those that you end up associating christmas with as a child.
Sorry about that needle snapping, what a pain, the sweater looks gorgeous though.

THe pjs tradition was always held by my godparents and now I still try to get myself summer pjs for christmas and winter ones for easter. Strange how you always do things the same. A hot meal is another.
