Conversations at the Kitchen Sink
This is Fiona. She is beautiful, bright, witty, silly, creatively funny and processes a full measure of the dry humour that often takes adults by surprise. Including me upon occassion.

The other day I came home to the two bad boys greeting me at the door and that she had beaten me home.
"Hey honey, you are are home early."
"Yeah, I have a really bad headache."
"So you let the dogs out of their crates? They got crated this morning?"
"Uh huh."
The sound of running water really got my attention. This is the child who rarely, if ever, cleans up her dishes and would happily leave them piling up in the sink until I ask her to clean them up repeatedly for two weeks.
"You? Doing dishes? Are you feeling okay?
"Mom, I though that we already established that."
I couldn't help it. I collapsed into a major case of giggles. My life with a teenager. Gotta love her. Not much else will do.

LOL, that is SO Fiona. You know, I will never forget that time a few years back where she had a migraine and puked on the kitchen floor. Then dorky me comes walking in to help and slips in it and falls right in! The look of complete horror on your face was priceless. Especially when you realized I was laughing insanely at the weirdness of the event.
