This little guy
This little guy left on Wednesday to embark on his own little adventure. Ryan posted last week about Tony Harris and put a call out for baby things for his child that will be born in the next month or so.

Wednesday, the stars shifted and at the last minute I was able to make it to the Seattle Knitter's guild after all. The downtime still hasn't occurred due to a problem getting parts, but I trangress. I decided some that since the little red elephant didn't really have a home, and he is so soft and squishy, that a little baby, who unfortunately will never know it's father in person, needed something soft and cuddly. Elephy and I discussed it with Little Red Elephant and he was overjoyed to have the opportunity to play a little part in the plan.
I can't imagine growing up without a father, nor can I imagine losing a spouse in such an awful tragic way. Thank you Ryan for your giving heart and nature, your willingness to give. Although Elephy misses his friend, he told me this morning that he is quite okay with it. You see, elephants never forget, and they especially never forget acts of kindness and love.

Marti, I'm so glad you were able to make it to Guild... and how lovely of you to send Little Red to love and be loved by that precious little soul. I just can't even begin to imagine...
You're right, you know, elephants never, ever forget... :^)
Congratulations on posting throughout November!

I'm glad you got to go. And I am sorry I didn't. Conflicting schedule with church and kids stuff that night. :-(

What a tragedy. It is always hard to accept that such painful things happen to people. I know that little baby will love that Red E.
Take care..
