Saturday Sky and Serpentine Mitts

I walked into Ballard this afternoon and when I was leaving to come back home, the sky was spectacular.

A great way to end a day that earlier looked like this:

What I did while I was there will be a story for tomorrow, but I did finish a pair of Serpentine Mitts just for me!

Thanks to Fiona, we were able to obtain the above picture. I really could have used an extra set of hands, but it was nice to borrow my daughter"s hands instead. I even let her sit on the back of the couch to snap the picture.

I've finished my turkey sandwich and I am so ready to curl up on the couch and knit for a bit, while we watch the end of the Apple Cup. The score keeps bouncing back and forth, so who knows what the outcome will be. I am just content to watch and knit.

Love the mitts!! You deserve to have a treat for yourself!

Those photos of the sky are fabulous, both shots!
Love the mitts, warm hands for you!

Beautiful photos and mitts!

Oooh! Those are in my queue after seeing your first pair. Way to go! I'm glad to see them in a multi color yarn, because that's what I want to use.

Thank you for such lovely photos and another peek at your life! Those mitts are reflecting the beautiful colors of our Fall...although it is almost gone. But, you will have those to remind you of the beauty that surrounded you.

I love the mitts! We missed the beautiful weekend, due to being with Gabriel's family in Eastern Washington. Oh well, I think it will at least have given me photos to share this week!
