Particular Elephants
I discovered late last night that that final sip of wine was one sip too many. Evidentally, elephants don't take too kindly to having their legs put on front and back rather than side to side. I was so embarrassed by the incident that I immediately frogged the evidence and refused to take pictures. For this, the new elephant is extremely thankful.
I also realized that I hadn't read the pattern instructions correctly during the creation of Elephy, but he at least doesn't hold that against me. Especially since he is now sporting a proper elephant tail (I'll take photos tonight, but I am running out of time at the moment). I am not sure if the new critter on the block will every forgive me for my knitting transgressions, but that remains to be seen.
Thank you all for your kind comments on Elephy. The link to the pattern is .here. I used a partial skein of koigu left over from some sock project or another and size 2.00 mm needles.
