Back to Mundania

After spending 4 days in fiber utopia, it is back to the mundane. There have been major re-entry issues, especially where work is concerned. What do you mean? Sitting down and going full tilt at knitting and spinning isn't what you need done? Sorry, just can't get my mind wrapped around the concept of the working world reality at the moment.

I popped my CF card into the little reader this morning and discovered that I had the wrong card. So no Madrona pictures yet, but you do get to drool at my new Spindlewood spindle. It is made from flamewood, has a sqaure whorl and weighs a bit less than an ounce.

I have a whole bag of roving odds and ends from Snooze. All sorts of colors that I am playing around with. The plied yarn is a wee heavier than fingering, and I am not sure what it wants to become yet. Perhaps when I get a few more colors spun up it will have whispered the thought to me.

I enjoyed my little trip to Spindlewood. Thanks for the link!

Oh boy, I am having exactly the same re-entry issues. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I really miss everyone. Your poem is so nice.

The spinning looks beautiful. I'm always a sucker for anything blue.
