how did this happen?
I have several projects that have been lanquishing for quite some time. So why is it that the projects I am currently working on are all somewhat new? I have no idea. Clearly I have been attacked by a case of startitis. I had better get something finished soon though, I am becoming overwhelmed by the sheer number of UFO's yelling at me from their respective baskets. (No need to shout dear Rogue, I hear you loud and clear).
Progress has been made on these three projects. The Koigu turtleneck is done to the armpits. The black sock from Nancy Bush's new book is actually the second sock. And the light pinkish looking strip? A kimono baby jacket from one of the more recent Interweave Knits. Forgive me, I am totally lazy and am not looking through my knitting bag for the exact issue. It is way past the time where I should be snuggled in my nice warm bed.

I can see why these projects are taking top priority! They are all lovely!

The new thing is *always* more interesting than the old. The new thing holds out the prospect of being perfect, of being a breeze to knit, of fitting exactly how it's supposed to and making you look gorgeous -- how can the old project (with its known flaws) compete against the lure of the new???

I knew you'd tear throught that turtleneck in no time. I can't wait to see it.

Really like the new color combo. Since I'm not the one knitting it seems like it's going really fast! Maybe it is - I've been away, I'm reading lots of posts all at once.
Love the picture of Shannon, too. Great buds.
