Okay, since it has been forever since I have uploaded any new photos, here you go. Today is the first day back to school. I can't believe it. What is even weirder is that I read an email from my dad this morning and my brother is starting high school. That freaks me out because I remember changing his diapers and feeding him cereal and having him puke on me, then a couple years after that trying to decipher what he was saying when he was speaking Japanese to me. He would look at me like I was totally stupid when I didn't understand him. It was pretty funny. And I think Alyssa starts 7th grade.
Okay, my other brother Tim is starting high school as well. And Nick? This is his senior year. (It would be cool if he went to school at UW - hint, hint) Too. Damn. Weird. I feel old. And Graham has a computer nerd job now. Changes are in the air for my family. *sigh*
Okay, so Harley started 7th grade. Brace yourselves - my daughter wore a skirt to school today. Freaky, no? Well, let me say that it was a black denim skirt and she had leggings on with skulls down the sides. And those armwarmers? Those aren't white polka dots. Those are skulls. And yes, the Converse high tops complete the ensemble.
She looked so cute! She is so her mother's daughter. I was having flashbacks to my own 7th grade attire. We could have shared clothes. Okay, so here she is:

And Here is Kassie at the restaurant. We went to have Pho for lunch with Auntie Rem.

And here she is at school walking to her classroom. Yeah, that is Lexa's head in the way. We got to the classroom and Kassie talked to the teacher, told her how to spell her name and sat down to play with blocks. When I got done chatting with the teacher, I said goodbye to Kassie and told her to have a good day. She looked at me, smiled and said "Okay. Bye momma!"

And here is Lexa having a fit in front of the school because we were leaving Kassie. She didn't quite understand why she couldn't stay with Kassie, and why I couldn't leave her there with Kassie if we weren't all going home. I had to bribe her with the promise of a popsicle to get her in the car. She fell asleep on the way home, and she's in bed napping right now.

It was hard with Lexa wailing away (my eyes started to tear up), but I didn't cry when we left the school. Are you proud?
I am sure you are wondering where the heck Chace is. Well, true to form, he wouldn't get out of bed until 20 minutes before his bus came and then he dragged his feet eating and getting himself together. So he missed the bus and I had to drive him to school. I was rushing around so much trying to get him out the door that I forgot to take a picture of him. I will have to take one of him as he gets off the bus this afternoon.
