It's A Sock!
Well, almost. It's the Big Basin sock from the Six Sox Knitalong. The yarn is Dream In Color Smooshy in the Wisterious colorway. It makes my foot look like a hydrangea. Is started it Saturday afternoon while I was watching the kids swim.
It's coming along nicely so far, but I have no idea if it will end up fitting me. (Gauge? who needs to check gauge?) If it is too small, Mom gets it. If it is too big, my sister Laura gets it. (BTW, Laura and Michael are swiftly falling in love and all that mooshy stuff, so all is proceeding well with my Valentine's story.) If it fits, then I get to keep it until either HK or Laura decide to steal them and force their fat feet into them anyway. It's happened before.
Wish me luck.

My daughter, whose feet are... 'meaty', seriously, she just has large feet, mine are 'scrawny' but she's also been know to try on my socks.... heh... thank goodness they're made of wool and remember the size they're supposed to be... :^)
The sock is very pretty, looking forward to seeing the whole thing.

My feet are not fat! They just happen to be a bit bigger than your itty bitty stumps! And yes, Michael and I are great, fantastic even!
