Conwy Progress

ETA: Dang, I have a spot on my lens. I can't believe I didn't see that and Photoshop it out. *sigh*

I made it a little farther on my Conwy sock. It is looking nice overall, I think. It fits snugly, but not too tight. The pattern isn't all that visible, but you can still see the ridges pretty clearly, and I like that. I think if I ever do this pattern again, I will use a less busy colored yarn to show off that traveling vine stitch a bit more. But really, I am pleased with it so far. Here's a detail shot:

Funny that when I started this sock, I had completely forgotten that I wanted to do a pair of Rozas next. I guess this just means that the Conwys just really wanted to be knit. And even though they aren't turning out "perfect" I am really happy with them. And I am weird about the yarn and pattern being 'perfect' for each other. I have a sock that I have knit in 2 different patterns already and I am probably going to rip them out again. I think that yarn will end up making a pair of Jaywalkers if it isnt too ratty looking by the time it is reknit yet again.

I guess the Conwy pattern was just really calling out to me quite loudly.

very pretty sock. The yarn is lovely! Thanks again for all my goodies. I will definitely keep an eye on your blog to see what you do with the Robe and Bowl!
