L&V Sock Marathon 2007
So, I decided to join the Lime and Violet Sock Marathon. I need to use up some sock yarn so I have excuses to buy more. Makes perfect sense. So step 1 was to find all my sock yarn and calculate how many miles. Step 2 was to Flash My Stash on the group page. So here is a photo of my sock stash that I dug out of the basement. I have 14.9 miles here.
But wait. There's more. I found some under my chaise. 
Yeah. And... that brings me up to 17.81 miles. Step 3 was to set a goal for how many miles you want to knit from Jan to April. My goal to knit is 5 miles. I think that is like 19 skeins of Opal. Crap. 19 pairs of socks. HELL NO, I WON'T MAKE THAT. Maybe I should set a more reasonable goal like 2.5 miles. Oh, wait! I just found 4 more balls. That's about 1400 more yards, so that makes.... Forget it. The total stays at 17.81 miles.

Holy Crap! Thats a lot of sock yarn! I can't wait to see 290+ socks you knit from that. =)
