Something small

I finished it the other night. It is a variation of the Pinwheel Dishcloth, which is taken from the Magical Mitered Vest. I added a few rounds of garter stitch to bump the size up to 8" from a rather small 6".
Oh, and I finished a pair of socks for Nathan rather quickly in time for Christmas. Since I had a bit of a time constraint, I just made them in a 2x2 rib (72 sts), knit the cuff for about 8", turned the heel (from memory and both socks matched, lol!) and knit for about another 8" from the heel flap edge before decreasing the toe. I used Regia Ringel. I can't remember the color number and the remaining label is somewhere in my car. He saw me knitting them a couple of weeks ago and asked if they were for him. I said "No, they are mine. I don't have the right color for you yet." So he tuned them out completely and still managed to be somewhat surprised when he got them Christmas day.

When he gets home, I will try to get a proper photo of them. They look much better on him. I would model them, but I wear a women's size 6.5 and these socks were knit for his size 11.5 EEEE feet.
