midgeling: life in a shoe.

Holy crap I am bored! Work has been way too damn busy. I have ton of crap to catch up on, and most of it is damn boring data entry crud that I am overqualified for. But "They" refuse to hire me an assistant. So I am stuck doing it. It is boring. Yes, I know I said that already. But it is.

Lotsa stuff going on. I made a major decision in my life. I will now knit in the weekly staff meetings. I have in the last two meetings. No one sees me most of the time. I just keep a plain old sock in my bag, so I don't even have to look at what I am knitting. Just mindless old stockinette to keep me from getting fidgety or biting my nails. If they don't like it, one of them can just come up with the balls to tell me so. I don't even think anyone in today's meeting even noticed.

Last Saturday was the Renton River Days Parade. Harley and Chace were in it for Lee's Martial Arts. They won firstplace, from what I hear. Harley was part of the demo team, and Chace got to walk at the end of the line carrying boards that some of the demo team got to break. When I get home I will have to post pictures.

I was so proud of them! Harley is ready to take her belt test for her yellow belt. Chace heard about that and has suddenly become more motivated to start focusing on things. I don't think he likes the idea of Harley getting her yellow belt before him. He better work his butt off, because Harley sure has!

Kassie got bit by some piece of sh*t kid at her school yesterday. I brought it to the school's attention and they promised to be watching out for that kid. They damn well better.
