Seattle Knitter's Guild Meeting

Last night was a guild meeting. It was a lot of fun! Cat Bordi/Bordhi was there last night. She talked about her new book, Treasure Forest and her knitting and a bunch of other stuff. She is currently working on mobius scarves that are shaped - wider to narrower circumference and also with a new cast on that has you working both directions at once (I think).

She did her own version of the "Round Trip" sweater in pastels. Cat came up and was admiring mine! I was very pleased. A "real knitter" who writes books and teaches classes and stuff admiring my knitting.

She is really a nice woman! I am glad I got to talk to her. Her new book sounds really interesting, and it was fascinating to hear her describing her writing process.

So.. what did you do with the kids? Spending all this time away from home.... :)

I just thought I'd stop by and say hi. I'm also from Seattle--well, I work in Seattle, but live up in Shoreline :) I'm just learning to knit, so it's interesting to see what more experienced knitters like yourself are doing. Very pretty creations!
